In grammar term, the word "speech" refers to all set of words or sentences that we make when we talk, and this "speech" is made up of some components that are called "Parts of speech". Generally, there are nine parts for our speech. each part is a word or set of words that is put into a category based on its syntactic functions in the sentence.
Adjectives play a very important role in our daily English speaking, such that without them we cannot express our opinions or introduce something to others. when we talk about something we most probably describe or introduce it, so whether we talk about color, size, material or about quality and quantity, none of these can happen without the help of adjectives.
Adjective is a word that modifies a noun. adjectives are used singly or in a combination, to give information about size, shape, type, quality, material or idea.
Adjectives that are placed before a noun are called attributive adjectives, which describe the noun.
When Adjectives are placed after a noun they are called predicative adjectives. predicative adjectives are linked to the noun (subject) by a linking verb.
Linking verbs connect the subject of the sentence to an adjective, to give more information about the subject.
